They found solace in the seclusion of the secret royal garden, BeWon. As the Joseon Dynasty’s favorite retreat, they used BeWon for outdoor feasts and celebrations — the cares of the world temporarily forgotten amidst the garden’s tranquility. We hope to invoke the essence of this forgone age in presenting authentic Korean recipes along with a few modern touches.
