Our Comments
Burgerville is what we look for in a fast food restaurant: they are changing the deadly game that Ray Kroc (McDonald’s) started.
“This locally-owned and wind-powered business aims to “serve with love.” To meet that goal, they’re partnering with local farmers and producers to source ingredients in low-footprint way that results in fresh, seasonal food. And eating those Walla Walla sweet onion fries, wild smoked salmon and hazelnut salad, and smokey blue cheese salad is all the more fun when you can feel good about it.” (excerpted from A Fresh Squeeze, July, 2008)
About half of the 20+ locations are in the Portland area, but other locations are spreading farther afield… down I-5 as far as Albany OR and up I-5 as far as Centralia WA.
