Our Comments

Ray’s is a Seattle institution, with a festive salt-waterfront location and nice food. The shoreline is illuminated to allow patrons to enjoy the view at night. The restaurant is pricey, but the cafe upstairs has food specials and also has great views, outdoor tables

From the Restaurant Site...

Widely regarded as a “must visit” by locals and travelers alike, Ray’s Boathouse is world-renowned for its impeccably fresh Northwest seafood. Our culinary professionals, led by Executive Chef Peter Birk, hand select the best products from local purveyors and then prepare them simply to enhance the naturally fresh, clean flavors and succulent textures. The menu changes weekly to reflect what is seasonally and locally available. Combined with our spectacular bayside view of the Olympic Mountains over Puget Sound, Ray’s Boathouse is the quintessential Northwest seafood experience. Complementing Ray’s cuisine is our award-winning wine list of more than 700 selections, with an emphasis on Northwest vineyards.

The Cafe features the same legendary quality and spectacular view as Ray’s Boathouse in a more casual atmosphere. The menu is a bit more adventurous and a bit more affordable – perfect for kicking back and relaxing for lunch or dinner. Ray’s Cafe features 20 microbrews on tap, a full bar, specialty drinks and a variety of hard-to-get classic European-style beers. The outdoor deck is the place to be for sunny day dining (please call ahead to confirm deck opening. We do close the deck seasonally and during inclement weather). Our two stone fireplaces take the chill off those typical Seattle rainy days. Lunch and dinner everyday.
